The Dome Science Building
The Science Building under the dome wears a variety of hats. There are offices for science representatives, technicians and grantees as well as for environmental health and saftey, meteorolgy and Information Systems personnel.
A public computer lab (above right) is available for station use and includes both PC's and Macantosh platforms. This building is also where the Network Operations Center is located as well as the data processing for a few major science experiments on station.
The Meteorology Department (above left) is also housed here and is where all official weather data is collected, monitored and processed for station operations to include providing weather information to incoming aircraft.
